This years first Affiliate Summit is the Affiliate Summit West 2009 in Las Vegas, NV. You should be seeing more posts about the ASW and all the parties everyone went too in a few days once it’s over.
I’d recommend going to these conventions if your ready to network. You should have a business card a blog and/or contact info to give fellow affiliates when your at the convention. You would also want to meet up with your affiliate managers and/or get close with a few of them so you can get some secret info
